I decided to start this group as an additional crocheting and knitting group for those who are interested in sharing in this community of this fine art. If you're a beginner with questions or an expert...all are welcome to come. Let's get together over coffee or tea and share ideas, patterns and such.

This is a diverse group of knitters and crocheters of all skill levels, ages and walks of life. Anyone and everyone are WELCOME. Artisans from the five boroughs, New Jersey and beyond. We have dinners, coffee breaks, yarn crawls and whatever other fun outings we come up with. Come join us!  

This is a casual monthly gathering of knitters and wine-drinkers at Bar Olivino, a lovely wine bar in Ft. Greene/Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. I thought that organizing a group of crafters and would be crafters with a mission to learn a new craft or hobby can be fruitful in so many ways.....I am envisioning to have meetups regularly and invite some craft experts in sewing, scrapbooking, rubber stamping, jewelry making, crochet, knitting, etc.

The Brooklyn Fiber Arts Guild isa community of fiber crafters throughout the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Through paid membership, the Guild offers members access to classes and events such as stash swaps, an annual luncheon, and charity projects. The Guild also hosts an annual World Wide Knit in Public Day event to teach others about all needlecrafting.
